Usage
This kit is used to quantitatively detect the content of cholyglycine in human serum in vitro.
Background of Clinical Indications
When liver cells are damaged, the ability of liver cells to take up CG decreases, resulting in increased blood CG content; when cholestasis, liver excretion of bile acid is obstructed, and the reflux blood circulation CG content increases, it also resulting in increased blood CG content. Therefore, the assay of serum cholyglycine (SCG) is one of the sensitive indicators to evaluate the function of liver cells and the circulation of hepatobiliary substances. Simultaneously, cholyglycine is also the most sensitive indicator for the detection of intrahepatic cholestasis in pregnant women.
